National Maritime Museum
A museum like the National Maritime Museum of Ireland could not have been established and have survived to date without the dedication and manifold support of many individuals. Our members of the National Maritime Institute help through their financial contributions, expert input, and by advertising and lobbying for the museum within their circle of friends and acquaintances.
Our volunteers make it all happen on a day-to-day basis, by running the “business” of the museum, organising fundraisers and welcoming our visitors as guides and general museum staff.
Our CE-workers provide invaluable support on the ground by providing all those often invisible support services that a historic building requires, staying clean and welcoming.
And last, but not least: Our visitors provide us with the necessary encouragement to keep doing what we love doing and help through their financial contributions. They make our museum come to life.
